What's in the foods we eat? Fresh Ingredients--That's what's in our food and where healthy eating begins!
You will never find any trans-fat oil in any of our foods. But
you may find some coconut oil--an oil that we plan to use a lot more

click here.The baseline for healthy eating is the ingredients used to make the foods we eat. Fresh, natural ingredients. We feel this is the only way that eating well and eating healthy can go hand in hand. And we feel this is the road that takes us beyond so-called gourmet food. Because we value the quality of every ingredient used in the preparation of our food, we hand pick every item personally--nobody else, just us. And every order you make is made to order--we have no inventory. None at all. In addition, we want you to know that for each and every item we cook the ingredients contain no additives, or preservatives and are as fresh as we can get. That's the start of healthy eating. We also make all our own stocks, sauces, breads and desserts--everything fresh. We want you to have an enjoyable experience with out food. One of the best ways to make that happen is for you to know the ingredients we use. This will show you that eating well and eating healthy can go hand in hand. We make the food--nobody else.
So, you will see on the label of each of our foods a list of ingredients.
The list demonstrates exactly what is used in each item. You can read
these ingredients and compare them to other similar item--"apple pie"
for our "apple pie dumpling", for example. By comparing each list of
ingredients you can see what's in your food. Once, a customer asked
if we put "sugar" in our chicken pot pie. "Sugar?", we asked--why would
you put sugar in a chicken pot pie?"Healthy Eating Starts with The Ingredients! ![]() So, we went to the store and checked out the ingredients in the chicken pot pie section--to our utter amazement! Then we began to discovered how different our cooking was from most everything else. And that's how we began learning about healthy eating and eating healthy and how they can go hand in hand.
